I’m in the market for a new pair of glasses and recently discovered Warby Parker’s Free Home-Try-On Program. You start by taking a quiz on their website about the frame shape, color, and size that you’re looking for. Once you select the 5 you want to try, they ship them out to you for free! Once you receive your selections, you have 5 days to test them out and figure out which one(s) you like the best. After 5 days, you mail them back with the included pre-paid shipping label and have NO obligation to buy. If you do end up liking any of them and want to buy a pair, you can easily add your prescription and order them online! Since I don’t currently have vision insurance, I really appreciate that all their frames are affordable. Another thing I appreciate about Warby Parker is that for every pair sold, they donate a pair to someone in need. How cool! Below are the 5 frames I tried out at home!
If you’re like me and don’t like feeling rushed at the optometrist while you try on a bunch of frames, this will be a great resource for you. Sometimes I’ve had buyer’s remorse a few days later when I’ve made rushed decisions, so I’m glad I will have more time to wear these and see which ones feel the best and complement my face shape, etc.
Comment below with which pair you like the best on me (1 – 5). I like a few of them better than others, but would love to know your opinion!
Thanks for reading, and let me know if you have any questions about how the program works! If you’d like to give it a try, just click here to get started choosing your 5!
If Warby Parker isn’t for you, another more affordable online retailer for frames is Zenni Optical. I have ordered 2 pairs of glasses from them so far and have been pleased with both. You can receive $5 off your frames by using my link.
