The 16 Best Money Making Apps, Freebies And Survey Sites (1)
  1. PINCHme – Free samples in exchange for feedback.  No catch! I have gotten so many free samples this way and love Tuesdays when the samples go live!  I’ve found a lot of new favorite products this way.
  2. Crowdtap – Answer questions in just a few seconds on the app or website and earn points to redeem for gift cards. It’s quick and easy to redeem.
  3. 1Q app – Earn money by answering  – you guessed it – 1 question!  The pay rate is either 25 cents or 50 cents per question.  Not a bad trade-off for a few seconds of work!
  4. Upside – Savings on gas!  Use referral code 2HVTR to get an extra 20 cents/gallon off your next gas purchase.
  5. Schlesinger Group – Focus groups online that pay well. I recently took part in a 45 minute snack study and got paid $150.
  6. Hivemind – This company offers high-paying market research survey opportunities. I’ve participated in online discussions and research regarding dog treats, kombucha and tourism, just to name a few.
  7. Google Opinion Rewards – Earn by answering quick questions about your recent location history.  I bank these rewards and get all our movie rentals and books for free on Google Play
  8. Survey Junkie– Get paid to take surveys based on your browsing habits.  You can also get free products to test.
  9. PPOC Club – Get paid for your feedback on product branding and also get free products for helping to improve brand marketing. Multiple ways to earn on this site.
  10. Beta Testing (formerly Erli Bird) – Get paid for testing new apps.  I’ve earned $160 from this site so far.  I love being the first to test out new apps, so it doesn’t feel like work!  They have ranged from pet-sitting apps to tv watching collaboration apps, so there is a wide variety.  If you report details on bugs within the apps, you can usually earn more.
  11. Swagbucks – Many chances to earn gift cards here. Surveys, trivia, online shopping, coupons at the grocery store. One of my favorite sites. I usually earn a $5 gift card every few weeks.
  12. Influenster – Get free products to review and share on social media.  I’ve gotten both food and personal care products to try.  It’s a fun app!
  13. Maritz Mystery Shopping – They have an abundance of available jobs and most pay well.  I’ve done a few auto test-drives where I earned $60 per shop and also did a pizza shop where we got free pizza in exchange for an evaluation.
  14. E-Rewards – Take high-value surveys to earn points toward travel, gift cards, and lodging.  I bank mine for FlexPoints!  This program is invitation only, so if you do receive an invite, jump on it because it’s such an easy way to earn travel points toward flights and lodging.  They also offer rental car points and restaurant gift cards as rewards.
  15. Intellishop – Another legitimate mystery shopping company that makes it easy to apply for jobs based on your location.  Definitely worth signing up!
  16. TestingTime – Get paid to test new products and services.  Payouts are lucrative here.
  17. BestMark Mystery Shopping – Earn money for mystery shopping.  They pay you for getting auto services performed and providing your honest feedback.  One of my favorite companies.  You can check out the below video for details.

What do you think?  Do you already use any of these sites or apps?  What are your favorite ways to earn money through technology?  I’d love to hear about them below.

  2. the e-rewards site says “Panel Currency has no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash” – which sounds a lot like saying “the money that we talk about paying is not real money” ….???
