Want to eat healthier but can’t stomach the high price of produce?  It’s sad that it’s often cheaper to buy fast food than to buy fruit and veggies.  To help save some money on fresh produce, check out Misfits Market.  They offer organic, non-GMO imperfect produce that would otherwise be discarded at prices up to 40% less than grocery stores, and the best part is that they deliver right to your door (to most states on the East Coast and will be expanding to others soon).

See for yourself what the “misfits” looks like in my unboxing video and feel free to use my referral code to receive 30% off your first box.  I like the variety and the fact that the contents are always a surprise so I will get to try out a bunch of new recipes!

Misfits Market says it best on their website:

Think of us like an online grocery store, except one that specializes in rescuing food that is unnecessarily thrown away. We source high-quality organic produce that has a few quirks—onions that are too small, potatoes that are shaped like your favorite celebrity, and carrots that fell in love and got twisted together. It may sound like a joke, but billions of pounds of this fresh and delicious food is tossed each year because grocery stores only want “perfect” foods on their shelves. We step in and buy this food from hundreds of farms across the country and bring them to your doorstep, saving you money and helping you save the world.

What do you think?  Will you slum it with the misfits? 🙂 Let me know your favorite way to save money on healthy food below.

  1. This is awesome! I never knew such a thing existed. I’m definitely going to try this when we come back from vacation. The only thing I wish you could do is to adjust certain things to omit. I know that would be difficult to manage, but while my boyfriend and I eat most fruits & vegetables there are some we won’t even touch! I’m sure they will one day.

Thanks for the review! I’ll link you when I hopefully try it myself 🙂
