Hi! I’m Emily Adams – welcome to my site! I’m passionate about travel and wellness, and have been traveling since age 1 (Thanks Mom and Dad!) Over the years, many of my trips have been ruined by my own sickness because I would throw “healthy” out the window once I left for vacation. Though everyone needs some time to indulge, I realized that being healthy is a lifestyle to embrace and not something to abandon while on the go. My goal is to share ways to thoroughly enjoy your travels in a healthy way.
My educational background is in physical therapy from the University of Kansas, but it wasn’t until after college that I discovered just how important nutrition is for optimal performance both in athletics and in our daily lives. I began my journey into the world of nutrition by obtaining my certification as a holistic health coach from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2013. Since then, I’ve been able to use my knowledge of nutrition to help others and to continue on my own healing journey (I’m currently working on healing my gut and correcting hormonal imbalances in my body through the functional medicine at Triad Health Center) I currently reside in Greensboro, NC with my husband Gabe and our fur baby, Sasha, but I will always be a Jayhawk at heart.
