Happy Travel Tuesday!
Whether you’re looking to plan a road trip, book a flight, or plan out a journey by train or boat, make sure you check out these resources to save you a lot of money and make planning a breeze ⛱️
I’ve been using Autoslash for about 5 years now and they’ve consistently found me the best rental car rates. Just to be clear, this is the only one that’s not an app, but the epic deals on their website more than make up for not having an app!
I like to use Kayak Explore when I need some travel ideas. I just plug in my departure airport and a date range (can be several months), and it will bring up a map showing the cheapest flights everywhere! Below is what I found for May departures from Raleigh, NC within the continental US.
Rome2Rio is great because it includes local transportation, so it tells you the cheapest way to get from point A to point B, whether it is on a bus, train, ferry, flight or even a ride share. Very helpful for planning a multi city itinerary!
Skiplagged is a newer addition to my favorites list. They show hidden fares on flights and hotels you won’t usually see on other sites. Today I found a flight from Raleigh to Denver for $41 and to Orlando for $31! You can see the deals here!
Where are you planning to go this year? I hope these resources help you save some money!
